Dr. Robin Rosenthal, Ph.D.

Dr. Rosenthal has been a practicing, licensed clinical psychologist for over 25 years, and specializes in the assessment and treatment of a range of issues affecting children and adults including behavioral problems, emotional adjustment, developmental, and learning issues. Training and experience has led to a specific interest in working with children and their parents to assist with appropriate assessment and therapeutic intervention and support for the home and school environments. She has worked with schools in both testing and assisting in the creation of individual educational plans (IEPs). Dr. Rosenthal utilizes an eclectic approach to treatment, including elements of cognitive behavioral and play therapy, depending on the particular needs of each child.

Dr. Rosenthal completed her M.A. and Ph.D degrees in clinical psychology from The University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, and her post-doctoral internship training in Atlanta at the VA Medical Center. Dr. Rosenthal’s graduate training focused on the area of medical psychology, which allowed for additional specialization with these populations. Dr. Rosenthal is a proud recipient of a prestigious award granted her from the American Psychological Association for her dissertation research. She is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association.
